GAMES
Indoor
- Adherence to the School board's, Ontario, and federal government's COVID and other health guidance will be needed while at the school gym by all participants.
- All players must wear indoor court shoes to have a better grip and avoid leaving permanent marks on the floor
- Boots and overshoes must be removed before entering the gymnasium.
- All participants and facilitators must remain in the gym and leave the facility upon completion of training.
- Washrooms can be used but the use of showers is not permitted.
- Entrances and Exits must not be obstructed at any time. Illegally parked vehicles (fire lanes, handicap spaces, etc.) may be ticketed and/or towed at the owner's expense and liability.
- At the sound of the Fire Alarm, all occupants shall leave the building by the nearest exit and not re-enter the building until the all-clear is given by the
Fire Department
Note: Badminton Ontario strongly recommends that all players wear protective eyewear meeting the ASTM F803 standard whenever on the court. Protective Goggles must be worn over the top of prescription glasses to fully protect the eyes.
Outdoor
- Outdoor activities/games are subjected to weather hazards, falling, and injury. OSC cannot be held responsible for any such occurrences.
- All players should be 16 years or older
- Kids accompanying players are the sole responsibility of the parent/player or legal guardian. OSC is not responsible for any incidents with kids
- Hazards may not be always marked at the venue/ground
- OSC can terminate the program at their discretion
- Orleans Sports Club is not responsible for any accidents or injuries.
- Once the payment is made, there is no refund for any reason.
- Verbal or physical abuse against OSC members/organizers is not tolerated by OSC.
TRAINERS (Volunteers and non volunteers)
- Treat everyone fairly within the context of their activity, regardless of gender, place of origin, color, sexual orientation, religion, political belief or economic status.
- In the case of minors, communicate and cooperate with the participant's parents or legal guardians, involving them in management decisions pertaining to their child’s development.
INSURANCE(members)
- For injury or medical incidents occurring onsite while participating in the OSC organized indoor games at the CEPEO facility, members may be eligible for an insurance claim with a deductible paid at the member's expense. This coverage may change without notice. Reach out to OSC for the latest updates.
